Montfort Productions is a packaging and intellectual properties management corporation specializing in reality based historical screenplays and scripts for film, television and the stage.
Our focus is on bringing genuine, important and dramatic stories of the past to audiences around the world.
Our film feature epics aim for audiences who want reality-based heroic action, intrigue, drama and spectacle. (Montfort, Being Murietta, The Washingtons, Vriesland)
Our film feature dramas are for audiences who relish the intimate stories of real life heroism on the smaller scale. (The Treasure, The Richest Woman in the Western World)
Our stage works range from one-man bio-drama (An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe) to festival and Broadway musical properties (Columbus, Johnny!)
Strength of story and characters, and accuracy to the period through extensive research, are fundamental principals of our choice of works.
