The Treasure

A feature dramatic screenplay on World War II

The Belgian National Treasure is hidden in a convent – the Nazis are ordered to find it.

Denise, 16, plans to be a nightclub singer – or a dancer – until the Nazis invade her home on a French beach resort. She flees to an ancient convent in the Pyrenees, to become Sister Placide – just as the Prioress agrees to hide the Belgian National Treasure, and the convent’s patron gives away her fortune to join the nuns in their poverty and the SS set up their R&R center in the convent garden.

A true story based on interviews with Sister Placide
